howdy all, im a new commer to your group invited by my lovely sister. i am 23 years old and hopeing to lose the excess baby weight i gained from giving birth to my daughter who is now 8 months old. if you have any ideas or suggestions to give me in attaing my new goal i would love to hear them

Welcome! You will find lots of information and support here. My best advice is to watch your portions, drink lots of water, and don't underestimate exercise--- not only does it help you lose weight, it makes you feel great emotionally and physically. And finally, don't think of it as a diet, think of it as a lifestyle!
I am new here too! I am excited to have a new group to help support me and keep me motivated. I have been working on this for 4 weeks now and have had great success with counting calories, I know, Old Fashioned, but by golly when you stick to it - it works!
I do 1500 a day, some days I actually come in under - teh first few days were tough! But now it is pretty smooth sailing and I am seeing consistent loss. My husband is currently deployed so I joined here in hopes that when he comes home I can stay on track and not let him de-rail me! He says he will support me, but it just never seems to work out that way!
