When was the last time you lost a pound?

  • Ahh, reality.

    I haven't lost a pound since mid-April.

    Which is OK...my original goal weight was 150 anyways, and I'm at the lowest weight of my adult life. So maintenance is OK for now.

    BUT...that being said..my "dream" weight or fantasy weight is definitely lower.

    Anyways...

    When was the last time you lost a pound?

    And if it's been a while, why do you think that is? What can you do to correct it?
  • Soooo long ago. I think it was at the end of March! My overall goal is to not binge and im finding that hard enough so losing weight is not the best plan for me. At this point, I'm hoping just to maintain a healthy mentality and get to my normal weight which may be just a few pounds less than what I am now. I lost the first 6 pounds in the first 5/6 weeks and since then I've been teetering between 130 and 129 for about 2 months.

    I should probably cut out the extra treats I have but that sometimes leads to bingeing so I'm not being as strict as I would need to be to lose the rest of the weight.

    Prior to that, it had been a couple of weeks. I have not yet hit a plateau. When I stall, I know it's my own fault (not necessarily saying this is the case for you) - I've eaten crap that week, usually. Or had a huge meal the night before weigh-in. I'm dreading the day that I weigh in after having done everything right and don't see a loss on the scale.

    I think it is easier the farther you are away from reaching goal.

  • the last time i lost a pound was mid-april too. it's sooo frustrating. i haven't been perfect, but pretty decent. if i do anymore, it won't be something i could do for life...so i don't know. i feel like i'll never get to goal...or lower. arrghh. i guess we just have to stick to it. keep going gals!
  • Don't know exactly when I lost it, but I was down two at my last weekly weigh-in. But I'm still way overweight, so it's coming off pretty easy. Don't beat yourself up- you've lost 53 pounds! That's excellent!

  • I lost 2 last week, but before that it had been a couple of weeks since I had lost... I figured out that I was needing to eat more calories... who knew?

  • I had been stuck in the 151-154 range for the longest time. Recently, I've started peeling off a couple pounds.
