  • I shouldn't be that surprised. I fell off my plan and bounced back up 25 pounds. What a shock! When I don't exercise and I eat junk, I gain.

So, again, back in the saddle.

Hopefully by making my efforts public here I will stick with them. Really, it's not that hard.

    1) No fast food. None. That means no!
    2) Controlled calories and portions. 1600 cal/day.
    3) Run 4 times per week (2 times ain't cutting it)
    4) Lift weights 3 times per week.

I'm tired of being fat. It is easy to live in a state of denial, but you know, pictures don't lie.

    I'm tired of being fat.
  • Hey midwife. Cheers to you! Get back in the old saddle and you're going to do great.
  • i'm with ya girl! i hate seeing pics of myself because then i have to admit there is a problem!
  • Midwife, that's a winning plan there! Four easy steps to health and fitness - you can do it!!

I promise you'll never get tired of being slim and fit.
  • Sounds like a great plan to me Midwife! Stick with it and I promise you, you won't be disappointed. The rewards far outweigh any and all sacrfices - by alot. You absolutely can do this. It is well within your reach. Good luck!!!
  • Yay midwife!

There is a planning thread going here in support--feel free to post your daily plan there if you think it would help you stay on track.

    Good luck!
    Jay

  • That sounds like a great plan. Stay with it!
  • let me tell you girl... nothing snaps you back to reality more than a picture. I recently went out with my girlfriends and we took a group picture.. WOW it's like I look at myself everyday but I just had no idea how big I was until I actually saw that picture. use it as motivation!

    You can do it!
  • I too just had an "AHA" moment with a picture.

Well, it looks like you used it to properly motivate you and I applaud your (re) commitment! YOU CAN DO IT!
  • Midwife--I have delivered both my kids with midwives. I know the heart and generosity you must have. LOTS of mamas and babies need you to be healthy--I know you can throw some of that generosity toward your own care!
