New Smasher Intro

  • Hi Ya'all-

    I am new to the board and plan on starting the Extreme Fat Smash diet on Monday with a buddy here at work. We have a small gym here and will be doing our workouts over lunch. I previously lost 50 lbs by working out like a maniac and eating very strict, but once I got tired of the being so strict I put all the weight back on. My main problem is not with my eating, the problem is that I like to have a FEW "adult beverages" in the evenings. As of May 1, I have completely stopped drinking alcohol. I look forward to working with ya'all to reach our goals.
  • HI and welcome This is my first day on EFS and I'm finding it tough but I think it's going to be soooo worth it. I love all the foods we're supposed to eat so that should make it more doable. That's great that you've stopped drinking, I'm graduating college on May 20th so the next few weeks will be tough with all the booze and celebrations! But I decided I couldn't wait another minute to start, and Dr. Ian even allows for a little alcohol, so that makes it easier.

  • Good luck to both of you! And congrats, snowbunny on the degree! I'm on week 2 of EFS but still in Cycle 1. Didn't start Cycle 2 very well so I started all over again. Stick to it! It does work. I've dropped almost 13 pounds total (a few were before I started EFS). I was hungry the first few days but found that hot tea or Lipton cup o' soup staved off the hunger until the next meal (only 45 calories!). Share your successes!!
