Oh dear... How confusing. Where do I stop?

  • Hey guys,
    I have a bit of a silly question but I'll ask it anyway just to make sure. On Tuesday (the day I weigh in) I had gone down to 195 pounds (13.13 stone) which according to my book means that I go down to eating 25 points. But the next day I went back up to 196 pounds (14 stone) and have been there for the past two days. According to my book 196 pounds means 26 points... so which one do I choose? Shall I stick to 26 points until I'm stable at 195 pound or just do 25 points becuase I touched at 195 pounds?
  • If your losing at 26 points why fix what aint broke?

    I've started this program at 24 points and have been losing at 24. I entered into the 22 point range but still aim for my 24. If I stall or platuea then I will lower my points. So you see, in this case I am heeding my own advice.
  • lol aww thank you so much for your advice. It's nice to know that someone will take the time out to help you out... thats why I just love this site. Alrighty don't fix which isn't broken... should be cool. But I guess that If I lose a pound then I really should move down to 25 points... I feel naughty if I don't. lol. Thanks again!!
  • 1) you aren't supposed to weigh daily only weekly --- you use the points from your weigh in day for the whole week (but then again my leader gives the tip if you are still losing at the higher number use that until you stop but that is a whole other story)

    2) your weigh fluctuates hour to hour and day to day...Have you read:

    thank you so very much for that article. It was a very satisfying read. Real food for thought. And also thank you for the advice I feel a little silly that I didnt come up with it myself lol. Of course I would eat as many points as I weighed on my weighing in day... oh dear... it's all this revision. lol thanks again!!
  • I would also say use whatever they said you weighed at weigh-in. Right now I'm at 27 points even though I know I've gone below 180 and should be at 26. But I'll go down to 26 at my meeting on Saturday when that becomes my "official" WW weight.
  • Not a problem...sometimes when you get someone who sits outside your 'box' they can get the answer you can't find yourself cuz your 'sitting on it' LOL!
