Saturday!

  • Hi all,

Eleni that is a great idea to have your daughter do the cooking for christmas then you can walk away from everything when it is over. And you can enjoy your grandkids more because you won't be so busy fixing everything. Sounds like the perfect plan. You can get back on track I know you can. I am sending the rest of my cake home with john's brother tonight so I don't eat anymore. I had a pc today and I made cookies and had 2 of them. So I am all set with the sweets for the day. I gave away the eclairs I bought so I wouldn't eat anymore of them either. I was dying for them. I hadn't had them in about a year so I finally got them and had 3 of them.

    CC,
That sounds like a grueling workout for the abs I think I will try it myself. I did do 50 so far today. Yesterday I did a total of 140 crunches plus my 3 mile walk. I also did some other exercises for legs and some arm exercises with weights. I am going to continue that again today because of all the sweets I had.

    Nita,

Congratulations on the loss that is great with both birthday and thanksgiving in there. You must have really worked your buns off all week. It paid off and now you can keep going now that the holiday is past.

I brought my dog with me today for my walk. I thought it would be good for her seeing that no one is paying attention to her now that it is too cold to go out and play. This way she will get some exercise everyday to. Hopefully it will calm her down a little bit. She will be a year old next month. She did pretty good for the first time out. Better then I thought she was going to do. About 1/2 way around she calmed down and walked next to me instead of trying to rip my arm off my shoulder. It took me a little longer to do the walk because she slowed me down. But she will get better with each walk we take hopefully.

Not much happening here. My daughter is going to sleepover at my brother in laws house tonight so we will have the house to ourselves. I hope john finishes up working early so we can enjoy some time together. It will seem nice to have the house to ourselves for a change. She has only been away from home for the night one other time and she did stay all night and not ask to come home so that was good. She will have 2 other little girls to play with and sleepover with. So she will have fun.

Have a great day everyone and here are some more vibes to keep us going. I must go workout some more to burn off the sweets I ate. ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((VIBES,VIBES,VIBES, VIBES))))))))))))))))))

  • Thanks for the vibes!
Sherri, I took my exercise challange and did 47 crunches in a minute. You might really like my ab workout, you get amazing results. I started by just doing 1 set of each exercise. I couldn't even come close to doing 25 reps the lower ab stuff so I did as many as I could and then tried to squeeze out 2 more. It took 3 months before I could finish it completely. If you need instructions on how to do any of them, let me know.
Way to go on the walking, It is too cold for my old bones, can hardly wait for spring! I bought a treadmill several years back, so I am confined to my basement for the rest of the season.

The house all to yourself? Bliss! Have fun!

Nita, I posted under Friday, but here it is again. Way to go! You deserve a Will Power Award!

Eleni, I am with Sherri, enjoy your daughter's cooking and relax and take it one day at a time. The road my be long but you WILL get there.

Ladies, let's keep up the good work. We can do this!

  • Hi All.

Bev, I think that the junior member, member and senior member is determined by the number of posts you have made to the board.
I can't think of any good recipes for the exchange diet. It's a good diet and recommended by the American dietetic assoc. and the American diabetic assoc. You can eat just about anything as long as you count your portions of protein, carbs and fat.
There are a couple of good recipes in WW points that I like. They have a muffin that is made from cake mix and canned pumpkin, which is less that 100 calories. Also, their vegetable cheese soup which is 1 point per cup. Vegetables are free, only the cheese counts. If you are interested in these, just let me know.

My DIL cooked thanksgiving dinner. I think that is why I lost weight. We ate early because one granddaughter had to be at work by 2 PM. I didn't bring home leftovers, so I didn't eat again that night. That is probably why I had a good weight loss.

Girls, if you keep talking about those crunches, you'll probably have me trying them.LOL. Keep sending out those Vibes.

    Have a good evening everyone.
