Hello! This is my second day on phase 1. I was wondering how many pounds you guys have lost in the first nine day detox, and did you do any thing extra i.e. exercise. And how often did you cheat?
Hey Honeybun, I lost about 8 lbs the first time I did the detox.
Though the second time I did it, I cheated a couple of times and then just stopped and gave up, because it affected the detox and loss. As for exercise I did what he recommended, for the first 3 days then up'ed it a little more. I did brisk walking, Turbo Jam, Elliptical, and exercise bike. Hope that helps.
That helps a lot! 8 pounds in nine days! That's good! I am going ot step up the gym! I am craving chocolate and burger king fries so bad!!!!!!!! How do you stop the cravings!?! One more question, did you weigh yourself everyday? I try not to but the scale is right there in the bathroom and I can't help it!
Honeybun- Hmm with cravings, I really had to substitute my cravings, like if I wanted something sweet, I save my vanilla yogurt for later and have some strawberries with it. Or if I wanted fries, I would oven bake some sweet potatos and sprinkle it with some Mrs Dash, and a little salt. It's hard but you get used to it. Just think about all the hard work you've put in already! I had a habit of weighing myself everyday, but I try not to, so I put the scale away where I can't see it. I also found out that if I waited and weighed myself every Monday morning, it was a great motivation to keep going. Esp, if you lose some!!!
Chipchump- Detox is the first Phase of the first Fat Smash Diet. You eat lots of fruits, veggies, brown rice, egg whites, etc. (no meat) for 9 days to rid your body of junk.
I am doing EFS (Extreme Fat Smash), so I expect to lose less in 9 days than you might on the original Fat Smash Plan with the 9-day detox. EFS has three cycles, each one week in duration.
But, to answer your question, I have lost 4.5lbs in 7 days. I expect to lose 12lbs in 21 days. If I stick with it...
TINKY009: Yeah I need to hide my scale too lol! I'm going to do the sweet potato chips. I never used mrs. dash. I'll ahve to go by the store and get me some!
Quickly checking in to say that I lost 5lbs on Cycle 1 of Extreme Fat Smash. That's 7 days. I'm starting Cycle 2 today and hope to lose an additional 4 this week. It's had to keep up the intensity of the exercise... 60-80 minutes a day of cardio is haaard...
