Some New Proverbs

  • I read an article about a Bernard Choi from Canada who's thought up some new modern proverbs that we can use

    Not all are weight wise, but there's some good ones there

    Quote:
    * A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

    * To get angry is to punish yourself with other people's mistakes," for stress management.

    * The more you smoke, the more you croak.

    * Smoking makes you ugly.

    * Drinker's liver, smoker's lung, couch potato's flab, binger's bulge.

    * Drinking and driving don't mix

    * Seven days without exercise makes one weak

    * A tri-color meal is a good deal

    * Double cheeseburgers and large fries. How does diet pop make that wise?
    The seven days one has to be my favourite and one I'm going to start using for myself.
  • Thanks for sharing those! I love the smile one!
  • I like the seven days makes one weak thing too... Very true!
    My other favorite is the how does diet soda solve a fast food meal problem.... I know I'm guilty of that!
  • That's the only one I don't like. I know a LOT of people who just prefer the taste of Diet Cola (personally I don't understand how they can drink mix soft drink anyways *shudders*) Its nothing to do with diet.

    Incidently, that's why Coke released Coke Zero. Men didn't want to be seen drinking Diet Coke, so Coke Zero (which is insanely simillar) was released. Just to be contrary I HATE Diet Coke and love Coke Zero.
  • Ooooh, I HATE Coke Zero! It tastes so bizarre to me! I prefer Diet Pepsi but still will always choose Diet Coke over regular Coke, which tastes like corn syrup to me.
  • I like that and thanks for the smile
