  • When I get to my goal, I will get to wear shirts like this:

What are you guys looking forward to wearing?
  • Oh crap! I went to OldNavy.com looking for *the dress* but the picture is gone. Ah well. It's a long white floral halter dress-- I already own it and it's been chilling on a hanger for weeks, staring at me every day as motivation. I can get it on now, but it's really tight and squishes my boobs weirdly so I certianly am not about to wear it out in public yet!
  • I love halter dresses. I want to wear one of those too, lol. OldNavy just came out with a line of really cute spring dresses that I want
  • *wistfully* I have a pair of size 10 pants hanging in my closet that I'd love to be able to button and zip up. Just 2-3 sizes from where I am now.

  • I just want to be able to wear jeans and a tank top and not feel self conscious about my stomach and arms. I don't want to hide under a sweatshirt anymore!!
  • I will wear whatever the !@#$%^ I want to!! *LOL*

I really don't have a piece in mind, I just want to be able to go into whatever store I want to and buy something! I don't even know what my "style" is because it's been so long.
  • On the Old Navy subject, has anyone noticed that on their website the dresses for plus-sized women are way cuter than the smaller ones? It's the first downside of losing weight that I've seen so far!
  • A little black dress, not that I have anyone to impress with one with but something about owning one and making it looks good is what I want!
  • Strapless dresses!! Lots and lots and lots of strapless dresses!

    And short, almost slutty, skirts!
  • I have a few items I already own that I want to be able to wear...

A really pretty lemon-yellow clingy tunic-length teeshirt split up the sides from thigh to waist, that I bought years ago anticipating that I'd be able to wear it with about 10 lbs lost (in the midst of one of my first weight-loss efforts) and have yet to actually wear. One of my favorite shirts ever - a chocolate brown long-sleeved shirt with an odd neckline, sort of like the neckline is a wrap top but the shirt itself isn't, and it's so wide as to be perching just on the edge of being off-the-shoulders with gorgeous beading detail...but if I wear it now, because it requires a strapless bra, it shows horrible back fat.

Oh, and the most longed-for item (for me)...a bikini. I'm 21 and live in California; I've got to be in the final 1% of women around here who have NEVER owned or worn a bikini. And every summer I keep saying "this summer will finally be the one!" and then it isn't. Of course, this summer isn't going to be it either, which is incredibly discouraging, but, well. What can you do? The poundage isn't going to fall off between now and June, that's all I can say.

Although most halter tops are going to have to wait until I've not only lost weight, but had my breast reduction done, cause at a 36F I can't even find ones that fit me.
  • hehehe. i hear ya on the halters.even if you found out that fit,if you ever lifted your arms up to grab something they'd fall out the bottom*LOL* that is, if you don't trip and fall first... stupid big boobs.

the thing i'm really eyeballing for my big finale lost all the weight prize is a pair of knee high Dr. Martens... stupid fat calves.
  • KnitALisa - those dresses are so cute!! I want to wear ones like that too. But I think my boobs will always be big so I will have limited selections on strapless things since some give little room for boobage!
Nikaia - Yeah, of course the bikini.
  • KnitALisa, I am right there with you on the slutty skirts! LOL....

I have never in my life owned or worn a mini-skirt and I am dying for the opportunity to try one out.

I also can't wait to wear all the horizontal stripes I want without worrying about whether or not they add 15-20lbs in appearance.
  • I agree
