Anybody out there a Foster Parent or something similar?

    After work today, I get to go pick up my foster baby! I just got the call today......She is 10 months and my second cousin. Please wish me luck so I can help her.........I tend to freak out when any little change occurs in my life so I am hoping I don't get all types of anxiety and stuff over this.

    Bless your heart. I have a 10 month old and they are such a joy. Just take it easy and try to enjoy your time with your little cousin/new daughter. I would like to adopt 2 foster children in a few years myself.

    Congratulations! My two sons are adopted and we fostered them for six months prior. We've also fostered their little brother for three weeks when he was a newborn as well as one other little guy the police found wandering the streets in a diaper one night. It's hard work, but very worth it!
