    Newbie from CA

    Just started today. Will need alot of support. My sister's wedding is in June and I would like to have some weight off by then.

    This place is awesome and the people are so supportive and knowledgeable. I love this site and the people here.

    You can do this - it's not always a simple and easy road - but it is doable. You will find some really awesome stories on this site.

    There is definitely tons of support available here...and like Penney mentioned lots of inspirational weight loss success stories as well. Have a look around, keep posting! I check this website daily (sometimes a few times a day!) and it has been such an amazing resource during my journey.

    I don't really have a plan. There are sooooooooo many that I have tried. I have every book (south beach, somona, glycemic, etc.) I don't know which one to use. I have tried it on my own and as you can tell I haven't done so well. Don't want to go to meetings, not time. I just want to start on something and follow through with. I have a bingeing problem also. Can't wait to get home and EAT EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE.

    Now about me..... I am 44 years old, married with one child (18 yrs). He is graduating from h/s at the end of May and will be leaving for school in the middle of August. This will be a rough time. I probably should put this on a blog. To wordy.
