I have to leave soon to go to a TOPS workshop on weight chart resumes. It's almost that time of year.

Oh there are no girls that go with the boys picture i posted. But all together I have 4 grandsons and 5 grand-daughters. The house is very loud at Christmas.

Well guys..... I just have to vent LOL, As some of you know I went job hunting yesterday. Well the good news is that I went into a Freds store here in town, and they offered me an managment position, and that the store is only about 1 mile from my house!!!! Now I wojnt know till today if I got it or not but the chances are VERY good considering I am shift leader where I am now and that the manager that is leaving is only 18 years old I am praying and just know if I dont get this job that there will be one that is right for me , and it wont be long. So if I get the position you ladies will be one of the first to find out, just had to get that off my chest, You guys keep up the great work and know I will still be around no matter the outcome BIG TOPS HUGS

What kind of workshop are you going to today? Sounds like fun no matter what. I know I enjoyed our rally so I am sure I would enjoy a workshop also but they won't let me go because I am not an officer. I know I still have the right to go but they say no and I don't want to rock the boat.
Are you still doing well with your eating? I walked again this morning and I will try to get in my body sculpting tape tonight. I am on my way out to go to the hospital to see my uncle. He is dying and is only living on life support right now. My cousins are young 31 and under (there are 3 of them 2 girls and a boy). They had to make the decision about the DNR. They have decided to go ahead with that. But there isn't any more the doctors can do for him but they are not telling the kids that. So they are waiting basically for them to come to them and say okay it is time what do you want to do. They say the first thing that will go is the kidneys then it will happen fast then he will be gone. It is so sad to go there and watch them all suffer like this and my uncle to because he is in pain. But there is nothing I can do but be there to lend them a shoulder and support.

I am ready to stay on plan today and have a loss this week. I am taking a subway card with me so I can have a 1/2 sub for lunch with mustard.LOL See I am planning ahead.

Happy SUNNY Saturday..... another BEAUTIFUL day!!! Got most of the beddings laundered and hung out. I am amazed that I can still do that!!! Usually there is snow on the ground and my fingers would be frozen. Love the fresh smell, but I know by this time next week, it may be all over with.

Eleni, hope you had a good time at your Resume workshop. Did it last long? We went over a little about them at our Rally a few weeks back, especially the areas that usually trip people up. Loved the photo's of your 'boys'! Yep, you are a proud grandma!

Sherri, sorry to hear about your uncle. We have a DNR on our kiddo too, except for just airway....but no vent. Sounds like he has a loving family around him. You take care of yourself so that your shoulders can support your cousins. Good for you planning your eating...keep it up....plus I'm very proud of the walking your doing. YEAH!!!!!

Christie, I hope you get the job you want. What kind of store is FREDS? Sounds like you are doing well with your eating. You'll be back at KOPS soon. Wow, wouldn't that be a way to end the year???

I'm doing OK. Haven't had a chance to hop on the bike yet. Wish I could figure out a way to rig up the computer on the handle bars. It would be great to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. LOL. Eating was way off Thursday. OOPS1 Tomorrow I'm cooking the turkey to take to MIL on Wed. I'll bone it and take some meat, dressing and gravy. Since there are 4 days between the cooking and eating, I'm going to have to freeze it. I don't like freezing dressing, but I love it cooked in the turkey, so I gotta do what I gotta do. She is 91 and we plan on doing yard work around her house. Looking forward to working in the crunchy leaves!! Just hope it stays dry.

Flatlander, in regards to my husband, he is very supportive of me in TOPS. He even takes vacation days off work so I can attend SRD and Rally's. He has never said anything mean about my weight...and sometimes I wish he would, thinking that it might make me realize how I do look to others. I hope you have a good meeting Tuesday!!

Hey Summer,

Sounds like you have everything planned for thanksgiving. That is great and you will work off your meal working in the yard.

I did great today on plan. I did have a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich before I left for the hospital because I got off to a late start. I thought it would be fewer calories. Then I brought a bannana with me and I had it on the way home. I did have 3 nachos with cheese but that was all. Then for dinner instead of ordering out because I didn't have anything out I had a healthy choice frozen dinner for only 6 pts. . I had plenty of pts left for the day so I made some popcorn and had an apple. I did workout for 20 min. doing strength training exercises.

I am exhausted from being at the hospital for the past 2 days. I know I am not as tired as my cousins. I am going to take a hot bath and either go to bed early or watch a movie. So I did get in a lot of exercise today with the strength training and the walking 3 miles this morning. I walked farther down that road today which meant another hill. That road is all hills. LOL But it is good for me. My legs are sore but hopefully they will stop being sore and my pants will get loose.
