Need to Re-motivate

  • Hi Everyone. I have been lurking on/off for months. I have lost about 15 pounds since January....quit drinking....but now am drinking again, so I am going to have to severely limit something to avoid going back to my old body/weight....food calories or alcohol calories.... I know what the smart choice is , but I am not so confident in my ability to adhere to the right choice. Anyway, that's my story....sad as it is. I am married and a mom of 2 (3 if you count the husband of 14 years). I am in an emotional rut and not sure how to get out :-(

    It's always troubling when someone is trying to make a choice between food or alcohol--I mean, that should be a no-brainer, right? If it isn't, maybe there's a problem with alcohol... I speak from some experience...

    I can tell that you want to change things, though! Otherwise, you wouldn't be posting. You don't have to gain back the lost weight, but you may have to make those changes. You can do it, even if it doesn't seem like it!
