I need someone to reach through the screen and smack me!

  • I'm such a dummy! I have eaten CRAP FOOD for the last 3 days-- I don't know why! I was doing SO GOOD! Pizza, Wings, Taco Bell... I'm so sad that I feel like I've fallen off the wagon. Someone kick me a bit!
  • You can start making good choices right now. Forgive yourself for the past few days and start to turn things around. You can do it. The only thing you gain from continuing is weight and you know your goal is to lose not gain so you are just making it harder on yourself later.

  • You just have to jump back on the wagon! You have done so good so far ! 12 lbs is impressive!! Try to visualize what 12lbs of butter look like!!! That is what you have taken off your body!!! Dont blow it now, you worked hard for it!!!!

    Sometimes with me, it helps to go grocery shopping. i will treat myself with the yummy diet foods (skinny cow ice cream bars, fiber one bars, the yummiest looking lean cuisine meal) When I know that i have appealing food options that are indeed low cal then i have an easier time getting back on track.

  • wakemeforsummer - I am so in the same boat as you. I feel as if, any second now, I'm going to fall over from a heart attack with all the crappy, fatty food I've been eating lately.

    but I take comfort in knowing that I can always start over. Tonite is a new meal and if I screw that up, then tomorrow is a new day. I know I can't continue this forever, but I know one day it'll click and I won't need to ever "start over" again.

  • Like all the other girls said, you have worked so hard so far, and you can't hate yourself over a couple of bad meals. In fact, for lunch today I was a bad girl. The office brought in pizza and I couldn't resist. But I went straight over to my calorie counting journal and looked at what I ate.. in numbers. It really helped cement in myself that next time maybe I shouldn't eat 3 pieces, and maybe eating one piece or two slowly with a fork will satisfy me enough. We're proud of you, keep going girl!

  • I'll just repeat everything everyone else said. I had 2min noodles for lunch (BAD CARBS, BAD!) and all I can do it enjoy it, get over it and keep on eating healthy stuff later.
  • I don't think any of us would be able to truly enjoy our lives if it weren't for the occasional 7 Layer Burrito and cheesy fiesta potato binge at good old (or bad old) Taco Bell. What is most important is that you savor that greasy goodness, then hop back on the wagon (or in my case, back on the bicycle) and keep going! You can do it!
  • my opinion on crap food is it is ok just dont over do it. one thing i have learned from experience is don't stop yourself from having it because when you do finally give in you will over do it. and don't let it get to you when you do enjoy it.

  • Ruth!! LOL!! You're too funny! But you're right-- I toasted phase 2 goodbye with about 4 glasses of wine and 2000 calories...whoops.. ! But back on Phase 1 today !!
  • I have overdone it too - please, someone YELL at me. I would be ever so grateful if anyone would pm me and give me a stern talking to! Lol, not that anyone should feel obligated to play food police with me, I'm being stupid. Somehow it would just help to hear it from someone else, you know?
