By the time I got out I was so hungry I was light headed. I didn't pack a snack (another mistake! I know better) and it's a 30 min drive home.. Fast food places are EVERYwhere and I want to just eat anything! I was just starving!!!.. so then I thought well I can just have a salad-all the fast food places have salads, right?.. but I am a seasoned dieter and KNEW I would not make good choices when I am starving.. so I turned the stereo on VERY loud.. screamed at the top of my lungs "I'm not doing this" and hit the freeway!
I couldn't believe how hard it was! It almost made me cry realizing I did this to myself and it was totally poor planning. I made it home, grabbed a banana and ate it in seconds (
) and instantly felt better.. 20 minutes later now and I am "normal" hungry and I am going to have my little panini healthy choice for lunch.. (I like these)..Wow.. what a learning experience.. NOW I need ideas of food I can keep in my purse for problems like this.. I could have even had a low carb snack bar in my purse..

So it sounds a little crazy, but I'm never without a healthy, filling snack.
Jman1, I do the same thing most of the time.
I love these fruit and nut trail mix bars I have. Nothing better than having a single serving yummy snack when you're peckish.
