Help! New to Phase 1

  • I have read the book and I am very confused as to a sample day of the diet in Phase 1. Do you have to eat all the items on the list in a day? Also, in the few suggested items for breakfast, he says a 1/2 cup of oatmeal, yet in his list he says a cup of oatmeal a day. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

  • When you view our Fat Smash forum, there are some posts at the top of the list which have Sticky written next to them in read. Sticky posts always stay at the top and usually include information helpful to the particular forum you are in

    Btw, when I did phase 1, I ate 1 cup of cooked oatmeal every day, and I also ate the 2 cups of rice, the full amounts listed of everything in P1. P2 and P3 were different, they had various suggestions so you don't eat everything, but you still eat a lot of food. If you eat phase 1 as it is written, it will include approximately 1300 calories and just the right amount of protein, fiber, and other nutrients that we need. I lost 6 pounds during P1 even eating everything listed.
