Taebo: Getting Ready to Start

  • I have the Taebo Bootcamp, anyone used it and what success did you have? I was trying to determine the difference between Turbo Jam and Taebo, any suggestions? Pretty much I figure as long as I GET MOVING something has to happen! I just wanted some feedback on your experiences. Thanks everyone.
  • I started TaeBo in 1999. I ended up selling all of my advance tapes because of a shoulder injury - I just couldn't do the fast pace workouts without it irritating my shoulder. I started with Turbo Jam in September 2005 and I have probably done Taebo 5-10 times since then (right before I started with Turbo Jam, I was doing the band workouts with Taebo and really enjoyed those and liked how it was toning my body.) I like Billy alot and he is very motivating. His daughter Shelly is his right hand girl and a few of the people on the workouts used to go to the same message board I'm on, very nice people - I still like Billy as an instructor, Turbo Jam is just that addicting and fun. I pick it over anything else. I love Chalene and her crew and they are also down to earth, natural personalities.

I wouldn't do either workout without doing the instructionals. Maybe if you can pick those up cheap (ebay???), try them both out and see which one grabs you the most.

    Best of luck. Rachelle
  • Thanks Rachelle, I appreciate the feedback. My fiance has the bootcamp series (ordered it a long time ago) so I have that set. I'm going to follow the regimate set up with the DVDs and see how I do. Maybe I'll get the instructional Turbo Jam video when I have some more money! Thanks again.
