Would it be horrible if I prolonged phase 1 for 3 extra days? For no other reason then matching up the start of phase 2 with grocery shopping day.

When I started the Beach it was a spur of the moment decision, I bought the book read it, went to the store and started that very next day. I HATE the grocery store and go a few times a week as it is but my big shopping day is Monday.

Thats what I needed to hear Ruth! I didn't think 3 days was a big deal, and i'm enjoying phase 1 now so its not much of an extra chore

From what I've read that wont be a problem. I went three weeks myself, then jumped into phase 2.
