Fat Smashers Weekly Weigh In~ 3/26-4/1

  • Down 7 last week. Mostly due to not eating and drinking so I'll be gaining that back this week.

    I hope there are other-than-smashers reading this, because I am so pumped up!

    I lost 3# last week after only 4 days of phase I. Long story here, but I have maintained a 70-80 #weight loss for 5 years. When I initially lost it, it was a gift; I just got full.

    You need to know I was a fat baby, a fat kid (and that's back when kids weren't fat), a fat teen-ager, and a fat adult. All my life.

    Then I got full, ate less, and just lost 5#s a month, for over a year. I just didn't like being too full. The gift was a sanity about food. It was a volume thing.

    Then over the course of the last 20 months, I found myself up from a low of 138 to 155. I tried everything.

    Then I found 3FC and the book review on Fat Smash. I had read Best Life Diet and You on a Diet, and the Perricone Promise, and Fat Switch and Fat Flush and the Zone (which I think is great..as are many of the others)...I just couldn't get control. Fat Smash has been amazing. It has calmed down that cachophony, the clamor for food. I have not had the same calm feeling about food for a long time....maybe not since Fen/Phen. I don't know if it is the volume of food, the fiber (myfitday tells me I am eating 35 grams of fiber a day, that might be it)..whatever I am so grateful. Yes, of course the 3# is water weight, I had it to lose, and now the rest is fat!

    I would encourage anyone to try it...I still don't have the book, but phase I is easy to figure out from the book review and the posts...and btw, thanks for all the recipes and answers.
  • I just started, but today, I'm in at 256.5. That's scary, considering I gained 60# in the past 1 1/2 years!
