Hi all. I'm new around here. I've been on a mad dash for motivation for a few days.
I weigh somewhere around the 135 range, but I'd like to be at about 125. I'm getting married this summer.
I used to weigh about 195. I took it off through counting calories. I didn't exercise at all. I was at about 140ish. Three or so years after I lost that weight, I began exercising and lost a few more pounds and looked and felt great.
I still count calories, but here's my problem. I have a tendency to eat not-so-healthy things. For example, I'll eat a McDonald's Happy Meal (about 500 calories) versus something else more nutritious that contains 500 calories. And, on days I don't count calories, I go completely crazy. I eat until I can't eat anymore. And the bad thing is, sometimes I end up doing this more days a week than I actually count calories, and this isn't good.
I think I've put on about six or so pounds. I really want to take it and a bit more off.
I absolutely HATE exercising with a passion. But I've been going to the gym anyway, because it's what it takes. I normally do 15 minutes on three different cardio machines, for a total of 45 minutes. I try to do some ab exercises too.
But anyway. There's my story. I'm glad I found this Web site. It looks supportive and welcoming. I hope I can lose a few pounds, keep it off, and stop myself from binging.

It is fun though!
