30 Something's Memorial Day Weight Loss Goal!!!

  • Hello fellow 30somethings!
    I used to come to this site a lot and I loved having personal holiday mini weight loss goals to keep me focused. I was thinking we could have a Memorial Day goal if you'd like. It gives us just over 9 weeks to make the holiday goal. I would like to set a goal for myself hopefully not too easy or hard-15 pounds.

  • Sure. I think that is a great idea. I need a goal as I'm basically farting around these days.... exercise one day, no exercise the next two days, eating good one day, eating bad the next two days. What a dumbie head.
  • Yeah, I haven't been setting goals, because I always fail at them...kinda like New Year's Resolutions! I'll bite though. Let's see 9 wks....I'll say 10 lbs. Keep it realistic and fairly stress free!

    I'll weigh in sometime over the weekend, probably Sunday AM.

  • Sounds like a good plan. I am not sure if I will make it as my weight loss has really slowed but I would like to lose 10 lbs. So I guess I am making it official.

    I am new to the 30-somethings, but I am interested in joining the challenge. I have been pretty good with working out and eating right this week and my goal will be to lose 15 lbs. by Memorial Day.
    My current weight is 180 lbs.
    Goal is go be 165 lbs by Memorial Day.

  • Sounds like a great idea. I'll say 10 pounds by then. Memorial Day is the last weekend of May right? (I'm Canadian)
  • I am glad so many of us are willing to try!
    I think that this really helps me. I can divide the huge amount that I need to lose into small little goals and it seems more do-able that way. Knowing that I will have to report in will hopefully keep me on track.

    Clover-yep Memorial Day is the last Monday in May, so it will be 9 weeks tommorow!!

  • Good Morning Ladies,
    Well my vacation has been a total veg out time. I feel like I haven't done anything. Friday I was headed to Billings and ended up in Cody Wy. Then my little sis called sat and we headed to Billings.
    I would say the memorial day weight loss sounds like a plan! I am going to have to work out double time this week.

  • I would like to join the weight challenge! I haven't posted here before, so I hope it's okay. I will make my goal to loose 15 by Memorial day also! I weighed in at 250.2. So 235 by then.

  • Ok, my goal is to actually exercise 3 times a week regularly by memorial day. Not a traditional goal, I know, but it's what I really need help with.
