I have been over weight for many years but my weight really got out of control after been dx with MS some 8 years ago. I hit the food for comfort big time.
I then gave up smoking 5 nearly 6 years ago and that piles more pounds on. But i have figured that if i can conquer the evil weed then i can get my weight to a more normal level.
Since I started in earnest I have lost 10lb in total and 2lb this week. I am not following any particular diet but I am cutting out junk foods and having more fresh fruit and vegetables in my diet. So overall i am just eating healthy.
Exercise is difficult due to the fatigue that MS has but i excerise when I can and except that there are days that i just can't as my body won't let me.
