Size 16! Throwing out the 18s!!

  • I tried on a pair of size 16 khakis that have been languishing in my closet for over two years, and they fit! And I mean they actually fit, not tight, not pulling, but fit --- woo hoo

It is now day 36 of my new lifestyle, and as you can see I am now well into the 160s and I will meet my goal of 130 sometime this summer. I have never, and I mean NEVER been confidant enough to say that, and mean it before. I am so proud of myself, and I know you ladies (and gents ) understand what success means to someone who hasn't had it for awhile.

    Have a great weekend!!!

  • Congrats to you Nancy!!
  • It sure feels great! congratulations!! keep up the good work! you'll get to your goal in no time
  • Way to go. I can't wait to get into my 16's again, then my old 14's , then old 12's, lol.....Can't wait. I am in 18's and I am just getting through first week.
    You give me motivation
  • I gave away my old 16s and 14's about.... let's see.... 8 years ago. If I still had them, they would be very out of style, I suppose. And trust me, if I still had 12's, they'd be so old they would be dry-rot and falling apart by now!!!

Looking forward to buying a whole new wardrobe before the end of this year!!!! Better start saving now!! LOL
  • That is great! I just can't wait to be able to say that the 18 I just got into are too big. Way to go! Guess I'll be joining you soon.
  • That's awesome ~ congratulations....Can't wait to get into the size myself.
  • Hi Backtome!

Last week I bought MY first size 16s, too! It is exciting to be able to buy clothes in the Misses Department and the Petites Department and not have to settle for an 18, an 18W or an 18WP!!

    When I was 275 I wore size 26WP.

Isn't it amazing how nice it is to feel more normal?

    Enjoy those khaki pants!

    Cheryl
  • Congrats!!! I'm so happy for you!
