i am new to this so excuse my mistake. i posted my introduction somewhere else so i hope someone reads it. i am trying to lose weight but it so hard. i weigh 220 and i am 5ft 7in. i would like to lose 50-70 lbs. my husband loves me and tells me he loves me if i am big or small and he tries so hard to let me know he thinks i am sexy. it is just hard to believe that when i look in a mirror. i weighed 120 lbs. about 15 years ago. i love choclate and i hate to exercise. i too have been asked when is the baby due? i just want to cry sometimes. i know i am a good person and being fat dosent make me who i am. i see thin people every place i look so a web site titled 3fatchicks was a real interset to me. im glad to know i am not alone. i have a thin 25 year old daughter and i hope she always stays thin. i have 2 sisters who are extremely overweight and a brother who is also. it runs in the family i guess. my one sister weighed 350 lbs and had gastric sugery 3 years ago. she is doing great. i have thought about that but i guess you need to be a 100 lbs overweight and luckily i am not. well i hope to find support here and will check in often.

Nice to meet you. And don't worry, people are always posting their introductions everywhere... And since not everyone frequents every forum, it's probably not too bad.

It's hard when obesity runs in your family, because than you are not only fighting your weight, attitude and behaviours but also your genetics.
