  • Lisa - Great loss! Slowly but surely is good - I hardly ever see more than a pound loss but they add up!

Mim (SD_gal) - Congratulations on the great loss. Getting back to plan works. I know what you mean about seeing low numbers for the first time in years - that's where I am now and it feels great!

Mama_angel - Great loss! I'm not sure if you saw my post from a couple of weeks ago, but my husband and I are going to be up your way this summer. I can't wait to see your beautiful state!

Marcia - congratulations on the great loss! I join you on the 0.8 and I'll take it too! Somehow I managed to avoid being asked to buy GS cookies so there are none in the house and I'm glad!

Mom2- Good for you for the maintain, especially if you've been struggling! Interesting thought about self-sabotage. I struggled for the longest time to lose more than 11 pounds. Every time I got there, even if I didn't mean to, I was thinking that this was as far as I've gotten. Finally, I took myself aside and decided to change the dialogue inside my head. It sounds funny but it helped.

    Nikki - welcome!

I was pleased to see a 0.8 loss this week. It wasn't a stellar week but I pulled it together. I went to two yoga classes last week and had a few days where I earned an activity point or two with my pedometer. I didn't start on cardio though - first I was waiting to be finished with the steroids and I was feeling good towards the end of the week. Then on Thursday, I woke up with a post-nasal drip, didn't get to sleep until way too late that night and boom, on Friday I got a cold. I've been trying to take really good care of myself this weekend (rest, lots of sleep, etc.) and just hope that it stays a cold and it's over soon. I couldn't help but go out for a short walk today though because it was in the 50's today.

    Have a great one!

  • I lost 4 pounds this week!! My body finally decided to catch up to all this running and good eating I've been doing!! And yes...I'm in Onederland at last!
  • CONGRATS, LISA!!!! That is so very ONEderful! Keep on keepin' on!

Judy - Good job. I am there with you on not having a "stellar week but I pulled it together"! LOL! Some weeks are just like that.

We took my middle son to a family playplace yesterday to celebrate his 5th bday. It was so much fun. Both DH and I got up in the mazes and had a great time! It was really fun exercise climbing and slider with our boys. My back is a bit sore today, but we had a great family time! We plan to do it again.

I lost 1lb this week! Yeehaw! Still just plugging along and trying hard to make good choices. So I am down 23lbs! Just 6lbs from my first 10%. I'm excited!

    Good luck, Ladies!
  • I lost 2 pds this week. I feel good about that. I have been trying to focus on being healthier and not just dieting. So far its been working for me. Monday is my weigh in day. So i am just about there again. Cant wait to see what the scale shows then!
