Can anyone tell me

  • if there are any free websites out there that you can put in a custom recipe and get the nutritional value for a serving of that food?
  • Try these:

    www.nutritiondata.com
    www.fitwatch.com
    www.calorie-count.com.
  • Thank you so much!
  • Like Ilene suggested, calorie-count.com is good. They have a function called "recipe analyzer"; its about 1/2 way down the homepage I believe. Click on that and you can add a bunch of foods, put total servings and it will calculate one serving for you. Check on the bottom of the screen though for items "red-flagged"; this means the program didn't understand your food description and left it OUT of your calculation; you need to try to explain it better according to the system requirements so it can add it in to the recipe.
