    This is a FANTASTIC site! The people here are SO supportive, and it seems that no matter what question that someone has, SOMEBODY knows the answer!

    One of our big losers here, Robin, got me interested in tracking my calories on Fitday. I had been on this awful EIGHT MONTH plateau and really needed a boost! Fitday is free and you can track your calories and exercise there. I have been able to lose TEN POUNDS since the end of January when I began using Fitday! I was able to plan my eating much better by using it and monitor my nutrition, too!

    You have definitely taken an important first step on the long winding road to better health and fitness by finding 3FC. The support around here is truly amazing.   • Thankyou all for the warm welcome it means alot I am not on a diet right at this moment but need to be on one.and need to find a good one .one that will not starve me to death or my hubby eather.As far as working out I have a bit of a problem i have arthrites in both knees and hips i swim a bi when I can but if any one hs any ideas let me know

    You can probably lose weight without changing what you are eating now. Fitday.com is a free site where you can enter all your intake. Learn to measure as you scoop out your helping of whatever you're eating. You'll soon learn more about the nutrient content of your food and then we'll help you make slimmer choices!

    Hi Karon!!

    I just joined today also, and I also am not at this moment on a diet! However, I will be starting low carb tomorrow. I've had the most success with low carb in the past, but got bored and got bad. I'm hoping this time to go more the way of South Beach, which seems more balanced and easier to sustain.

    I also did Weight Watchers about 15 years ago and had good success -- I was the thinnest of my adult life -- but again I got bored.

    I love food and cooking so much, it's hard to stick to anything for any length of time... I also like my cocktails and happy hour. So that doesn't always help!

    But here I am again... I'm ready to start again and give it another shot. I find it funny I was able to quit smoking 10 years ago, but I'm still struggling with food.

  • Karin I know what you mean I quit smoking 6 years ago but cant loose weight but I am going to try and I will start a journal to keep in touch I am going try ad just eat less
