Help!!!need Points Book

  • Hi. I was wondering if you had to join ww to get the points book. I know this sounds like a stupid question but I really can't afford $600.00 a year plus my gym fee. If someone could help me I would really appreciate it.

  • Percy - Well technically you should be a member to get the books - but alot of WW Centers have a place where you can buy WW materials. They don't have the book you get when you join on sale - but they do have food companions, etc. They have points for TONS of stuff there.

I dont see why you couldn't walk in off the street and purchase one of those. Its very helpful (they are $8 in my area).

Don't tell them you aren't a member - just ask to buy one. Its worth a shot.

    Good luck!

  • Thanks for all the info Tara. Now I just have to find a WW close to me. Shouldn't be hard to do.

  • In Kentucky.in order to get the Week One Booklet which explains the entire program and list points..IT IS NOT FOR SALE and never has been. You must join Weight Watchers to receive the pointfinder and week one booklet. However, you may walk in off the street and purchase a Food Companion or Dining out book which does list thousands of foods and there point value..

The cheapest thing for you to do ( I really hate suggesting this) is to join and drop out.then you have the book you desire to purchase. Enrollment fee varies from state to state.

    Hope this answers your question
    Sincerely
