I've seen, and even bought, devices that are designed to "change your voice" on the telephone to make a woman sound like a man (for security reasons and so a woman can answer her phone as a man to discourage unwanted calls). But the one I had (it was an actual whole phone) worked horribly. It made me sound like an alien.

Are there voice-changing phones or devices out there that can REALLY make a woman's voice sound like a man's and convincingly so? I mean to where a woman sounds like a real man without the voice sounding fake or computerized. A friend of mine is particularly interested because she's trying to discourage male callers.
