Hiya, I'm looking for a late 20's buddy...

  • I'm still learning to navigate the boards so if there is a more appropriate place for this, please let me know and I'll try to move it later today.

I'm 28, single, no children, trying desperately to finish grad school by May and could really use one-few intense supporters. I did the best on WW when I had girls I could talk with everyday, for at least a minute or two a day... I felt like I was invested in the program.

I haven't yet chosen a method of weight loss so that isn't an easy but I'd prefer to buddy w/someone similarly challenged weight-wise. Apparently, I have 150lbs to lose and I'd love to run that journey w/other people who understand the ups/downs of a late 20s fat chick.

Any information appreciated, hope you are all well.
  • Hey there! I am 28, married, one child (7) & not having anymore. I have 70 pounds to lose. I also have no set plan... but I am open to suggestion! LOL
I am hoping to re-start school in the fall.
We have different start weights but the same goal weight.
Lemme know if you are interested!
  • Hi. I'm 27 single, no kids, a teacher not yet in grad school. I'm doing a hybrid WW type program that I sort of made up on my own. I have around 75 more pounds to lose having lost 24 already. I'll gladly be a weight loss buddy if you would like. I know I could use all the accountability and encouragement I can get.
  • me too - also single for the most part - no kids - in my last year of grad school - I only have 50 pounds to lose - but it's oh so tough for me.
i'm doing cal portion size diet with lots of excersize (I hope)
    would love to chat.
    B
  • same story here, late 20's...30 in May (where did the time go?). 2 kids so finding time to exercise is my biggest challenge. Waiting until 11pm every night to walk is wearing me out, but I'll do it just to be able to fit into "skinny" jeans. I joined the forum and wrote my starting weight at 263 because I consider that to be my starting to get serious about losing weight moment but I actually realized in December I had gotten up to 278. So I know where you're coming from. This is a great group for support, I am so happy I joined. However if you need a more personal buddy besides just posting in forums please feel free to contact me.
  • Did you see this?
