Point range

  • I'm going to start WW at home.....again..... I have everything except how many points I'm allowed. I'm 5'8" 240. Can anyone please tell me? Also, at what weight do I go down in points?
Thank you!! I'm very excited to get started!
  • Hi, Ive gonetoWW in the past and just got out my stuff to look over again. At your weight you can have 28 points and when you get too 224 you can have 26. Good Luck!
  • Watch out posting copyright information less we get 3FatChicks in trouble with W/W.

If you have all your books then you have the information (which now has changed because W/W made it more personal) it would be in the Week 1 Booklet.
  • That's what I was going to say Kel, if you have everything it's in there, you're just not seeing it.
  • Also the information she gave you may or may not be correct anymore.

It is now based on more factors than just weight.
  • There is no longer a standard amount of points. You have to take the test to determine this.
  • I think the new way of calculating your points is more individualized but the allowed point that I was given on WW On-Line is 2 points less. I guess I'll aim for one point inbetween.
  • just watch going too low, can stall your metabolism and make it harder to lose! None of us needs that!!

Do you mean between the book and online or do you mean from what you where doing with the old plan?

If it is between the book and online double check that all the answers you are providind and that they automatically enter for you are the same. This is the biggest thing I've seen happen to cause different numbers.

If it is from the old way to the new way then the new way is what you should go with but you can always adjust it manually even online. At the end of the quiz where it tells you your points it will also give you that option.
