Italian Cooking Magazine~help

  • Angie just found out today that her cousin wrote a story about their grandma's polenta pot. It is in the Feb/March issue of ITALIAN COOKING AND LIVING MAGAZINE. Angie looked at all the stores in our area for it. Just wondering if any of you get it and when it may come out. Thanks!
  • Gary,

I did a search and found this site... is it the magazine you are looking for??

  • Don't libraries carry magazines? You might check one of the larger libraries in your area. At least there you could photocopy the article.
  • I'm a subscriber and my issue came yesterday That's a great story! It's after midnight and I can't find the cord to my scanner, but I'll scan it tomorrow and attach it for you. But if anyone else has a copy, feel free to beat me to it
  • THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I can't wait to see it. That polenta pot provided many wonderful meals for my family.

  • Here's the article - I scanned it to 800px wide to make sure you could read it, lol. It's a hefty size at 175k. Please let me know if you have any problems reading it.

Here's the photo, which is smaller.

  • Suzanne-
Thanks so much for the link. I was able to read the article. Now I know what finally became of the polenta pot, all this time I thought my brother had it.
Gary downloaded the picture and printed it for me. The little child on the left in the picture (my Nonna's right) is my father - "Uncle Angelo". I have a copy of this picture - it was her passport photo.
BTW, Nonna's polenta and sausage never looked that "pretty". We just piled it on our plates, scarfed it down, and went back for seconds... or more.
    Thanks again!!
