Goal oriented

  • Morning all. I'm feeling a little bit nuts today. I realize that I have a ton of mini-goals all along the way. I wonder if other folks do this too. I thought I'd share and let you guys know just how crazy weight loss makes me.

    224.5 - my highest weight ever
    204.5 - down 20 from highest ever (maybe by this weekend!)
    202.5 - down 20 on this try
    198.5 - my lowest in quite a qwhile (a year and a half ago)
    186 - how much I weighed when I got married 2 years ago
    170 - my lowest since my first year in college (first time I did atkins it was magic!)
    160 - actual goal
    150 - stretch goal

    Am I alone in my goal madness?
  • Oh...I do this too! My highest weight was 285, I watched what I ate for about 3 months and got down to 255 when I set my goals, so that is where the weird numbers (when compared to my ticker) come from

    239 (less than 100 to go) Met 10/03/06
    229.5 (10% of start weight) Met 11/05/06
    215 (weight when preg with Q) Met 1/14/07
    199 (ONEderland)
    180 (graduation weight)
    160 (high school weight)
    140 (GOAL!)

    Oh - - and preg with Q is "pregnant with Quentin", the last time that I really tried to lose weight I got pregnant with my oldest before I hit my goal and never tried again until recently. I just copied and pasted straight from my journal so that is exactly what I see every day! Next goal is the ONEderland goal, and I can't wait!
  • mmmm...ONEderland. It's right around the corner for both of us!

    I almost added a 199 mini-goal to my list but I was afraid to admit to having a goal between 202 and 198. Even I know that that's a little excessive. (just a little)
