How bad is Japanese?

  • My MIL's bday is this weekend and she has chosen a Japanese Steakhouse for her bday meal. We like to take her and FIL out when we can. Anyway, I was wondering how bad Japanese is? I see where the Teriaki (sp?) chicken is 6 points for 4 oz. I usually get chicken and shrimp but I can't find anything about Teriaki shrimp. It's the popcorn size shrimp with no bread. And how about the rice that they serve? I really can't find how many points that is. I will have all of my 35 flex points, activity points, and my left over daily points but I would still like to save some of my 35 flex points just in case. Anyone have any ideas on this??? The only part of Japanese food that I like is the chicken, shrimp and the rice. They do serve white sauce which I am totally sure is bad cause he told us once that they make it with mayo.

    Thanks! Melanie
  • You should be able to get sushi there, it is great and not full of fat and grease. Good luck.
  • I know I'm late, but in case anyone else was wondering.....

If you look under etools or even the Week 1 book it has food listed as "hibachi shrimp, hibachi veggies, etc" that's the food prepared on the hibachi grills right in front of you .....that's what I usually go by when I have Japanese food. There is also point values for fried rice.

I have yet to find point values for the seafood sauce (I'm thinking its mayo and ketchup but I really don't know )
