WATPvs.WATP for abs

  • So I was thinking about getting into the walk away the pounds videos considering the great reviews I read on this site, but I have a few questions about them.

    1. What is the different between WATP and WATP for abs? I see both of the different tapes but same amount of miles has the same name so I can't tell if they are different or what is different about them.

    2. What equipment do I need/do you guys like to use? yoga mat? exercise ball? weights?

    3. and what other tapes do you do along with these tapes? because I was also interested in doing some pilates but not sure if I should or which tapes are best to start out with...and if you can suggest one for me, can you also tell me what stuff you need for that? I'm planning on going out and buying a ball, mat, and some resistance bands. anything else?

    4. What is a good way to start getting into it? doing both tapes ont he same days or switch it up? What worked for you guys?

thanks everyone and YOU ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL!

  • WATP uses weights. She uses her own version of weighted balls, but you can use 2-3 pound dumbells, too. WATP abs uses her ab belt. It's a snug fitting belt with arm cords attached to it. Most all of her workouts (there are many other sets) follow the same basic steps: walk in place, side-step, kicks and knee lifts. She also has some that don't require any equipment (although you can do any of her workouts without equipment and just do the arm movements).

I have more than 30 of her workouts and just LOVE them!

    Happy walking!

  • how does the abs band work?
  • There are stretchie cords with handles attached to the belt. You do arm stretches over your head and out to the side or in front. Depending on how long it is, it really gives your arms a good workout PLUS the belt helps your tummy remember to tuck in!
