Well I made it back from Chicago. It was warm there on Friday (43) compared to the 16 we had here. The flights were a little rocky because of the weather coming in last night--I'm not a big fan of commuter planes and that's what we have to take.
Pam: My DH turns 50 in July. How did the celebration go?
KarynLee: Congratulations on Lifetime!!!
My hands would've been shaking too!Susan: DId you have fun with your sister this weekend?
Not too much going on here--we're still getting more lake effect snow and it's supposed to continue through the week. I didn't have that great of a weekend with eating but it could've been worse. I'll catch up more later.

John had no issues at all with turning 50...in fact he's very happy to reach that age. His grandfather died at 48 and John's dad died one month shy of his 50th. He didn't dwell on it, but I know he was a little nervous. He's in very good health but there's not much you can do about heredity.
I love a good deal and it sounds like you got some great ones! I can't imagine having to pay that much for insurance, you're right, you're being raped by the insurance companies!
BACK! I still read your blog pretty regularly and was hoping you would come back and post with us again.
I think that I've been eating too late in the day and that hasn't helped. I'll keep plugging.
