Little Chick ~ Hang in there, honey. I've been there, too. Men can be such jerks at times. If we acted like that when we're sick, they'd be rid of us before we could blink! You need a big hug right now.
Jet ~ Don't you hate it when you forget your meals you packed? You're pretty strong, though, to resist the cafeteria. Hope your string cheese can tide you over until lunch!
Kiko ~ Thanks for the congrats. The way you're going, you'll be in the 140s before long! The girls DO have playdough, and we play with it often. We use Floam a lot, too. I actually like it better, it's not as messy. Another activity they enjoy a lot is fingerpainting, but Maggie tends to get it all over the place! I'm glad your roads are better today.
RNMom ~ Isn't it funny how good something tastes after we haven't had it for a while? I'm always leary in Phase 2, too, and I usually have my carb in the morning so I can work it off the rest of the day! I don't know if there's any logic to that, but I like to think so.
Tara ~ I'm a caregiver, too, there seems to be several of us here. I work as a nanny to two precious little girls, and I've been with them since they were born. It's the best job in the world, in my opinion. I hope you get the snow you want!

Schatzi ~ I just saw pictures of your ice storm on TV. Stay inside and keep safe and warm today! That must be so exciting to you, settling on your house design!
Ruth ~ Have fun working on your church bulletins today. My DD is a church secretary, and I've helped her get out the bulletins occasionally, it was fun! Have a safe trip to Kingston later today!
I have a pork tenderloin in the oven in preparation for making the Pork & Pepper Salad for supper. I haven't tried that recipe before, but it sounds pretty good, and I know
Barb raves about it! We're expecting a little snow later today, but it's not supposed to amount to much, so they say. As long as the roads don't get icy, I won't mind it.
