does anyone know if the "added benifits" are worth the $5/w (or $65 for 13 weeks is what they bill you)

I have never subscribed to the site, and have also never felt the need to. I do recommend getting and reading the book, but you will get plenty of ideas and support right here!

We do have a couple of Chickies who belong. There is sometime more accurate info on the official site but somebody usually lets us know.

I found the online membership to be a bit disappointing. You can access recipes there, but that is something that can be done here as well. I wouldn't do it again.

If you can't afford to buy the books, get them from the library. I found that I could peruse the recipe books and keep the ones I liked by putting them in my recipe files. I use this site alot to check in on the actual diet info if I forget (such as amounts allowed in a phase, etc).
