First Day Here - All about me - :)

  • Hello all! I just found this site today. I'm hoping the support from this site will help me out. I'm 34 and currently at my highest weight ever, even more then my highest pregnancy weight! I have recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. The medication seems to make me feel better but I'm not finding it very helpful with my weight loss. I had my blood tested again and I guess the doctors are ok with the dosage for now. I knew for years my thryoid was not working properly but every test came back ok. My mom has the same condition. On a sort of unrelated note I've been torn between losing weight and getting pregnant again. I guess I can focus my attention back on losing weight since we have been trying for over a year without luck and my ob/gyn just referred me to a fertility clinic I go in 2 weeks. I have been trying to use the WW points but I have hard time staying within the points and not being hungry. I knew I could still use that even during pregnancy. I have changed my eating habits but I known I still need to work on the portions. I have been exercising almost everyday, at least 30 minutes. I usually fluctuate between 5 pounds up and down but that's it. I have been doing this for at least 6 months and I guess the only thing I can say is that I have remained the same even through the holidays. I need some support and more will power. I'm looking forward to meeting new friends and finding the support I need.
  • HI . . . . . . There are well over 60,000 members on these boards (plus many more guests and lurkers, who've just never registered) and I'm sure you will find lots and lots of support wherever you may decide to stop-in.

Just wanted to mention that there is an area here on 3FC devoted to DIETING WITH OBSTACLES . . . just click here . Sometimes it can help so much to find a group of people who are facing the same kind of challenges as you are. They really know what you are going through.

You be sure to have a great day, girl and stick with 3FC . . . you'll be glad you did.
  • Welcome!

Settle in, get comfy, and look around until you find an area that feels like home. Can't wait to get to know you better through your posts!
