3-hour diet

  • Has anyone tried the 3 hour diet by Jorge Cruise. My grandma called me yesterday telling me she just started it and loves it. I bought the book and am going to do it. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with it.
  • Is that just the one where you eat every 3 hours during the day? I do that anyway--eating every 2-3 hours is supposed to keep your metabolism higher.

I have not read the book--what else does the plan entail?
  • It also tells you ideas on what to eat. You cant just eat whatever every 3 hours. You have a certain amount of calories for the meals and snacks. There is not really anything off limints as in Atkins and so forth. It sees good.
  • I'm not a fan of diets that tell you that you have to eat this at this meal and that at that meal. I prefer good ol' calorie counting so I can decide for myself what to eat. After all, I am a grownup! But, the eating every 3 hours is actually a good way to go.
  • It seems to be what most people do regularly, so I don't see how it could be bad. I've never read the book, but I count calories and eat healthier foods (whole grains, fruits, lean meats, lean dairy, etc.), and like I said, I try to eat about every 2-3 hours. I can't say I've had luck with that exact plan since I never read the book, but I have had a lot of luck with the eating healthy foods frequently within my calorie range Oh, and exercising, too
  • I also eat every three hours and have had great results. I'm also never actually hungry, which is great!
