Did anybody else see the Lifetime movie To Be Fat Like Me?

If you did, what did you think about it? I just finished watching it and I'm not sure yet what I think. I don't really feel like the main character really ever learned anything, and I think like the "fat friend" I'm inclined to walk away... but I'm still undecided.

Also, I found it annoying and somewhat insulting that the movie was "brought to you by Jenny Craig" I don't know why that annoyed me but it did. DH did remind me that if they were playing a show about video games there would be gamer commercials, but since they were showing a movie about fat people, they had to show diet commercials. And I know he's right, but does that make it ok? Anyway, thought if anybody else watched it and had any thoughts I'd like to discuss it.

I just watched it tonight and it was not worth the time IMO. The characters were bland, the storyline sucked and yeah, I wish I had done anything with my time other than wasting it on that movie. I hated how there were a million commercial breaks, and at every break they did a "coming up next" preview, thus ruining where the (relatively nonexistent) plot was going to go. Anyway, I obviously didn't care for it, so I'll just leave it at that

i watched that movie last night also and it seemed pretty stupid to me. there were no lessons in it at all, i know what it feels like to be fat, i didn't need a lifetime movie to tell me that.

no kidding. and i don't really feel like they even touched at all on what it was like to be fat. it basically seemed to me to have a message of, being fat sucks also because people are mean to you, so... don't get fat.
