    Today
    Oatmeal w/ apple

    1 c seedless grapes

veggie soup w/ brown rice added

    apple

For dinner I will either have a cup of corn and 2 c boiled cabbage or maybe some asparagus instead of the cabbage.

If I need another snack I will have my smoothie and/or 1/4 c soy nuts

My menu often stays pretty much the same because I don't eat beans. I also eat strawberries as snacks and change out the fruit in my smoothie w/ berries, mango, pineapple & peaches. I also eat instant grits instead of oats or hot oat bran cereal sometimes. I also love brussel sprouts, steamed squash & zucchini so I will add those in from time to time. When I have time to chop a bunch of veggies will fixed fried rice cooked in a little veggie broth. I also love the pizza posted in the recipes thread but I haven't had time to fix it this week. My new snack is brown rice cakes - lightly salted only. Fixing a big pot of veggie soup works out great because it lasts about 3 days and I can easily take it to work and it is very filling. If I am not in the mood for a smoothie, I will blend some frozen or fresh fruit into vanilla nonfat yogurt and just eat it. Good luck to you. Lem
