I'm feeling really up-beat for a change. I know, it's like the year change has allowed me to put the blah, grumpy me behind me. Or maybe it's just because that whole Christmas thing is behind me for another year.
I don't know, but I'm gonna take it.I actually lived my words yesterday and stayed within my target calorie amounts, if only just barely. The nice part was that I was able to treat myself (going cold turkey just DOESN'T happen) without going totally overboard. I did hear the seductive voice telling me that one more won't hurt but I actually was able to successfully ignore it. Go me.

Exercise, once again, is going to be a challenge. The weather up here in the north is finally starting to take on a distinct winter flavor, with icy patches starting to form on most walking trails. I'm going to try and keep that from becoming an excuse, but there will definitely be times where this could be a legitimate reason for NOT walking. Gonna try and keep that as an infrequent choice as well.

I've also decided that I'm going to try and get up to that "8 glasses of water/day" rule. Just out of curiosity - since glasses tend to vary in size - how much water are people really talking about? Also, since it's unlikely that I'll be dropping my coffee/tea intake, how does that affect this number? I know that they don't count towards your water intake, but since they are a diuretic (i.e. pulls the water out of your body), do I need to drink more?
Anyway - gotta finish getting ready for work. I'm actually on time for a change, simply by rearranging the order in which I do things. (In this order, I'm a little more efficient and less likely to dawdle.

It helps to get your water in everyday.
Sorry, but just the visual of DH sitting there watching you exercise with your boobs flopping all over the place is hilarious!! (I can laugh, because i can relate!)
Of course you're welcome!
