will be out this afternoon so I may wait until evening to go.One of the teachers called me this morning and said the principal had sent out an email this morning requesting that teachers not abuse HIS semester exam schedule and leave the building in order to take more that their alloted half hour lunch (we actually only get 27 minutes).
During semester exams the lunch break is an hour long and students are allowed to leave the building if they are not restricted. Basically today is just a make-up day for those that were sick or have projects/papers left to work on. There are very few in numbers and they have to be with an assigned teacher and not on the loose in the building. He is being so petty! I had her check my email and see if I got a reply back from him and I didn't. I think I will go in for an hour next week to make copies and not go in on the 3rd. I can be just an oppositionally defiant as he can. I want a new principal and a new asst. principal for Christmas!
Maggie -- I forgot to congratulate you on your terrific 3.2# loss!
You are doing great! This is a hard time of year for me and I'm hoping to maintain. I had to laugh at your cute elf and reindeer. Your graphics are so cute! I don't think I have any program like that, but I'm going to check just in case."Gma" -- I don't think you have to worry about our principal coming to TN! He has a daughter and grandchild in Mpls. plus another daughter and grandchildren here. His son is in college here also. He really wants to go to MN. He is no dummy but he has a Dr. Jykell and Mr. Hyde personality -- you just never know what mood he will be in. Lately he's been 100% crabby . . . too many kids are failing classes and he blames the teachers! Don't get me started on that one. I love your hat! I noticed YOU weren't modeling it for us.
I have a couple gifts to wrap and then I can put away my Christmas wrapping stuff. Hope you all are having a great day and the sun is shining on you!

have been having fun today using my mini breadmaker. First off I made a batch of roll dough and then flattened them out and put a BBQ pork mixture in the middle and gathered up the edges and sealed them in balls. Baked them and now have some delicious little hand sandwiches. Then I noticed that I had a couple of bananas that were getting rather ripe so I am baking a Banna-Oat loaf even as I type.
EAN The smileycons program I have ~ you can download a trial issue and then if you like it ~ doesn't cost much at all. Your principal sounds like he doesn't want to be there at all if he is crabby all the time. He needs to get out of there for himself and for all the staff also. Sure makes it hard not to have a supervisor that isn't decent plus the caliber of kids you have to work with. Sounds like the only good thing is that all of the teachers aren't acting like him.
ILL is almost finished with that half size saddle and it is sooooooooo cute. The lady that will get it as a present will be jazzed for sure. He will have it done before Christmas but I don't think the man who ordered it will be back in town to pick it up till after. No matter ~ it will be here and it is for his mother so ...
Have a wonderful evening Magnolias.
) I haven't made those in a long time and they sound pretty good. I usually used beef in them anyway. I am sure all your good baking is perfectly yummy. I made milk chocolate fudge, rice krispie squares, choc chip cookies and frosted Christmas cookies yesterday morning for the kids down at the hotel. Jack had to taste test the frosted cookies. I swear I think that man could eat frosting out of the can. I ask him if they were any good and he said, "The frosting is."
Actually, I cut a lot of corners. I bought the Pillsbury sugar cookies that come in little nuggets and took two nuggets and formed them together to give me a bigger cookie so I just made a dozen. I used canned frosting and then used the few cookie cutouts I had and placed them on top of the cookie and sprinkled stuff inside it to form the shape. I hate making these type of cookies and always have. I hated it when I was a little kid. Mom used to make us frost and decorate Christmas cookies and I hated it so I don't do it now, but I made some for Thomas. Of course, he spent the whole afternoon with his dad's sister making cookies yesterday so he is probably sick of them.

t is a bright sunshiney
day here and in the 40's as I type. I think this day I feel strong enough and have my focus to make that one point a square inch fudge recipe I have. I have had all the ingredients but haven't felt like tackeling it before now.
and take it to my next WW meeting and give each member there a piece of yummey sweet.
I am sure they will all thank me.
just has to go visit his live stock. I get such a kick out of him though. The guys over at the ranch don't mind if he visits as much as we do.
AY I too have a light case of alergies and don't want to deal with taking those meds. I always keep a tissue handy. I have gotten a lot better now that we took out the carpet and replaced it with that wood type flooring. That yellow blanket sounds so nice and soft and cuddley. Does it have some cable stitching in it? When I learned how to do cables I tackeled one of those Nordic type sweaters that had cables all on the front and back. That is how I learned.
Bye for now.
I made another WM run and hit the grocery store for what I forgot yesterday. Then went into town again this afternoon -- I stopped in a new men's clothing store looking for black socks for Jason and found chili beer bread so bought one for Jason and Will. I happened to walk by a health store and saw a palm candle with a palm tree on the glass container so stopped in there. Amanda's mom and I always exchange small gifts and I couldn't pass that up. Actually I had forgotten to get her something, but they do Christmas in January so I still had time to check my list twice. I'm done shopping!
I wish I liked to cook.
It seems like it takes so much time to prepare and then it's gone in a matter of minutes. This principal has been interviewing for the past few years and no one will hire him for whatever reason or he would be gone. He does want to go to MN. He wants to teach again rather than be an administrator; maybe his strong personality comes out and the hiring people don't want to deal with that.
Several of us would help him pack!

Tomorrow will be a rather easy day as I have been invited to youngest daughter's on Christmas so no cooking! I like that. Our oldest daughter, who lives in town will drive and that is even better. It will be a fun day. Got all gifts and baking down and only have to give the gifts to the neighbors and that will be it.
