  • Ho ho ho!
Can you keep it under control with planning? I hope so!

Very very good behaviour during the week should ... should help me handle a dinner on the 23rd.

Three cardio days. Three weights days. And I'm booked for 6 shifts. I dunno ...
  • Aim for this week - Weights, Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri - Kickboxing Mon, Tues, Thurs (3 hours)

I've got no eating-out planned. I have to buy a turkey, mince pies and custard on Thursday for Monday's food-fest!

So hopefully I'm going to have a good week!
  • Monday Morning
Hey Chicks: Seems so quiet in the weekly forums lately! Anyway, My brother and his girlfriend left yesterday so I was able to have a healthy eating day and gym day after two days of splurges and 3 days of no working out. Feels good to be back on track...

Hubby and I leave for my parents' place on Thursday early morning - our flight is at 6:30am My goals include eating healthy until we leave and working out every day - Mon, Tues, and Wed - until we leave. I can do it!!

    Happy Monday girlies!
  • Evening dears. How did Monday go? I consider this to be one good day under my belt!
  • Today I did a big bike ride. I'm not sore, but my right thigh definitely feels the workout. My right leg is weaker because of surgery in the past, so I like it when that leg gets exercised. Tomorrow is a noncardio day. I'll do a lower body DVD on the stability ball. I really like the ball. It gets me up off the floor, but the workout is intense.
  • One good day down - a few more to go till Xmas!
  • I had a really lousy eating weekend!! Between people delivering cookies to my door and events where tastey sweets were being served, I totally lost control.

    So....

This week, I am going to run as much as possible. I plan to run today, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday (if I can fit it in). Do my two days of weights. Really focus on eating fruit and getting my water in.

Can someone whisper in my ear all week how great I feel when I eat right and how lousy I feel when I don't? Maybe I should tatoo it on my forehead...
  • Had a great day yesterday but the scales aren't reflecting it! Never mind, I know I did GOOD THINGS

I had lots of protein, lots of exercise and throwing myself around and my legs felt nice and tingly-worked-out by bed time!

Today I'm fogged-in! I don't fancy riding in visibilty less than 30m. So I'm half working from home, but half attempting to make the effort to go in. I've been downstairs to see how bad it is at ground level and it's still pretty bad. I might check it out in a little bit. I feel bad staying at home, but I am doing some work... I'm sure I'll get ribbed for it whatever when I finally do go in!
  • All this talk of protein is making me feel guilty. With all the extras and groceries associated with Christmas ... I don't have any protein powder. That could have something to do with how flat I've been after work lately.

So today .... I'm gonna get something proteiny and try to do cardio and legs before I go to work for 3.
  • I banged my head
  • Ohhh, tsk tsk. Have a cup of something hot and sit down a while.
  • I got my stuff and I'm making protein pancakes. That makes me feel more like I have a bit of control here!
  • Monday - check, Tuesday - check, Wednesday - check 3 great days down, 4 good days to go, then it's turkey day
  • Oh Jen, that is so great! I can't seem to string two good days together. The treats at work are killing me. And for all my 'you can do it' s ... I'm feeling pretty down about it.
  • I'm also having trouble keeping food under control. Seems every day I go a meeting or go visiting and somebody's made something I just "have to" try. It's always high-calorie and always delicious. I don't "have to" try anything, but I'm letting myself get sucked into it. My only saving grace is I'm still going doing exercise full bore. If I can just hang on until after the holiday...
