Detoxing - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

I am on my first day. I normally would have 3 or 4 diet cokes by now. I only drink water about once a month on the norm. I have drank 3 liters of water and no diet coke.
I have the worst headache, which I expected. I took a few Tylenol before it even started hoping that it would not get this bad. It is making me dizzy. I know that I will get through this. Any suggestions??

Also this being my 1st day, do you think it is unreasonable to have a goal of 10LBS by Turkey Day?

Some have suggested "excedrine migraine" because it has a littl caffeine in it and it will just take the edge off.

Today is my first day as well and I would love to have 10 lbs off by Thanksgiving.

You guys are doing great! Some have headaches. I would take meds for that. I never had the headaches, but then I don't drink caffeine. This plan is so worth it. I just came off of Detox and lost 7 lbs. As for the 10 pounds by Thanksgiving, I think it could be done. Just stick with the program.

Don't get upset if you cannot lose 10 lbs. by Thanksgiving. That's a tall order being that you're only 160 lbs. During detox you should lose the most but a normal, healthy weight loss once you're over detox should only be up to 2 lbs. a week.

If you're really set on that goal then you must not cheat and you do need to exercise. I don't like setting myself up with goals that might be too difficult to keep as it can be discouraging if it isn't met.

I am trying to just stick to a controlled way of healthy eating....If I can do that thru Thanksgiving I will feel so much better also. I do not have a scale at home and believe it or not I go to the bank where they have this giant scale and you can weigh yourself for free.

Thank you for the advice and encouragement! Day too seems to be going better. I did take Excedrin Migraine the minute I got to work. Crossing my fingers.

glad to here day two is good. hows your head????

mine still hurts a little today but not as bad as day 1. I think your mini goal is great !
