Hi Krystle! Glad to see you joining us! When I make a smoothie I put in about 1/2 cup NF milk, 1/4-1/2 cup NF yogurt (I use plain or vanilla flavored just cause they go w/ just about any flavor whereas peach yogurt for example may not be as veratile, but experiment!). I make sure to add liquids to my blender first. Some times I add some ice, just to thin it out and make it a little frostier, kinda like a milkshake. I get it out of my fridge's dispenser already crushed just so my blender doesn't have to work as hard, but you could add whole cubes. Then I add my fruit. I usually add a combo of frozen and fresh-whatever I have on hand. Obviously the more frozen fruit you use, the more thick it will be. Lately I've been making up combos of blueberries, raspberries, peaches, nectarines, and bananas. Whatever you choose to use, just make sure you count your dairy toward your daily limits and you should be set. This makes a fairly large smoothie that you could have for breakfast or a very filling snack. Enjoy and don't be afraid to experiment with proportions till you find out what you like!
