Default What's the most you've gained.....???

I know, weird question! But I'm curious cause I can't believe I could gain what I did in ONE week! 10.5 pounds !!!!

I know that I was "inhaling" food but sheesh! I continued to run every day and do some weights. I was that TOM as well.

Am I abnormal...............................(some of you are NOT allowed to answer that!!! )

Maybe water, too, depending on what you ate. I don't know what the most I've gained in a week is; I'd say the biggest jump in my weight came after my miscarriage in 1994 - I was so miserably depressed, didn't want to go anywhere or do anything, I just sat home and ate and felt sorry for myself. My weight had hit just over 200 while pg, then dropped to somewhere around 180 or thereabouts while I was recouping. Then the depression set in and my weight climbed up to the mid 200's (mostly fairly quickly - probably 70 lbs in less than a year, I'd guess - I seem to remember eating a lot of ice cream), and pretty much stayed there ever since (except while pg with DS). This is the first real, non-illness related weight loss I've had since then, so I'm pretty excited about it!

I once gained 14 lbs in 2 weeks but it was due to preeclampsia. I also gained about 10 in about a 10 day period once after having a depo provera shot. That sucked royally and it stayed on for the long haul. I think it all settled in my rear .

I put on about 35 pounds over a period of several months after a traumatic event when I was younger, I couldn't stop eating. I was depressed and feeling very empty inside and kept eating to fill the empty feeling. But it wasn't a food hunger it was something else. And no amount of food was ever going to fill it.

Just remembered....I gained eight pounds in one week when I went on a cruise - we ate five or six times a day so it was not a huge surprize!

Right before I started SB I was doing Atkins, doing very well on it, but just felt I needed the change to low fat (mentally, can't grasp eating allllllllll that bacon and losing weight), well 3 days before I knew I was getting paid to go to the grocery store for the "healthy" foods, I ate everything in site, we went out to eat repeatadely 2-3 times one day, (now I look back on it I wonder why I didn't just go to the store w/ THAT money, instead of spending it on 4 of us to eat at greasy fast food places, duhhhh), anyhow in 3 days I put on 7.8 lbs, I was sooooo puffy, my face, ankles, lips you name it it was puffy, I started on SB on Sat and was down those lbs yesterday morning (Wed). See it can come back off quickly, I did have to drink a gallon of water a day to get it to though.
Good Luck!!
