Smile I have returned once again!

I have missed posting so much and normally I post everyweek at least a few times and especially to change my signature to my new weight at the begining of the week. But I have missed a few weeks because I have been ashamed that I have only lost a pound a week. Sometimes it can be real discouraging to see the weight come off that slow since I have so much to loose.
The good news is I haven't gone off my diet yet! And I have been exercising almost everyday. It has been 4 weeks now I have been dieting and Im quite pleased that I have stayed on track for this long, and I wouldn't have made it through the too weeks if it wasn't for all of you.

Thank you All!

Let me get this right: you are ashamed that you had only lost a pound a week?? Come on--most would KILL for a weekly loss like that!

Hang with it, girl--and keep posting, the good and the bad!!

A pound a week - that's 52 pounds per year. I sure hope I can achieve that kind of success! Good for you, keep it up.

I agree. You should be proud of yourself. One pound a week is my goal. 52 pounds lighter next year is a HECK of a lot better than where I am now. If I lose more than that, I'm happy. But one pound a week is what I aim for.

Every other time I've tried to lose weight, I've set my sights too high -- 2-3 pounds a week -- then get discouraged when the initial fast weight loss slows down to a crawl. So this time, I'm really working on my attitude. I'm finding I'm more forgiving of my lapses, and more likely to get back on program. Slow and steady... that's the way to win this race.

Thank you everyone. I weighed in this morning, and I am stuck at the same weight second week running, and WAS feeling depressed, but now I feel happy. I have lost 42 pounds in six months, so if I stay the same for a few weeks that's cool. My body has worked so hard to get this far!!

Any amount is great as long as it makes the scale go down! Just hang in there and keep up the hard work...results will come!

One pound a week is awesome. I'm one that can go two or three weeks with no change and then when I do I lose only one. I celebrate every pound that I lose because it is one less that I have to deal with. You are doing good. Keep up the good work.

1 pound lost is far better than 1 pound gained!!

Besides, losing healthily you should only lose 1-2 pounds per week!
