[Buffy, the slayer]

Where has everyone been?
With it being so cold, there should be more people here on the board. I am cooped up and checking the board daily actually three or 4 times a day. WHERE IS EVERYONE? (Except Jiff, out snow shoe walking with the dog)

I am now almost 2 weeks out. I am recovering well. ACTUALLY SLEPT ON MY SIDE LAST NIGHT (thought I had died and gone to heaven), moving in bed is still a thought process, as that hurts, but once settled on a side it is grand.

I am trying to walk, but gosh is it cold outside. I went around the block last night, that might have been what helped me sleep--new post op record: 5 hours. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So WHERE is everyone?

Hey buffy, glad you are out and about and sleeping. You must be feeling like a million bucks, ok not that good yet but still....

Hi Buffy,
Your doing great! Glad to hear it. You will be amazed at what a difference of a few months and how you will feel. I'm 2-1/2 months post surgery and down 62 lbs. Yesterday I helped move my daughter, and carried boxes up and down steps most of the day. Talk about a step machine! A few months ago, I would have not been able to help out at all. I was helping with the rest of them, for a full eight hours, and going back today to help unpack some more. It's amazing how much junk a 26 year old single girl can collect!!! Where was the Clean sweep crew at when we needed them! LOL.
Keep up the good progress, and keep posting. I enjoy reading everyone's post. I too often check in on this site twice a day.

Hey Buffy! I can relate to the side sleeping thing! boy was I a happy camper that night!

sorry I have been mia lately. I had gone into hibernation with a book and my little guy who is having some medication problems.
